Which class is better to take during the spring semester: PHYSICS 135/136 or BIOLOGY 225? Are either of these classes asynchronous or easier during a virtual semester than when in-person? I plan on taking the other during the Fall semester.

Hi!
I would suggest taking BIOLOGY 225 in the spring semester. This class is asynchronous and run by Dr. Casey, who is a great professor. As for physics 135/136 – the class is being restructured and listed under physics 140 in the fall semester. This is because many students have suggested that improvements be made and so the class is meant to be better structured in the fall. While physics 135 is asynchronous, physics 136 is synchronous and (because the spring semester is accelerated) will be 2 hours twice a week. For that reason, it is likely better that you plan for physics in the fall!
