Hi, I am a junior this semester and I just transferred to UofM this semester. I was wondering how it would look if I asked professors from my other university to write letters of recommendation for me? I took most of my sciences there and developed really good relationships with them. However, I’m worried that med schools will question why i only used professors from my previous uni instead of the one I’m currently at/

Hi Reem,
To put it shortly, you should ask for recommendations from whoever you deem most suitable to write about your character traits and/or your work ethic as a student. This means that, yes, you can and should absolutely ask your previous professors to write your recommendation letters if you do have better relationships with them.
However, as you are only a junior, it wouldn’t hurt to continue forming those types of relationships with your UM professors if you want to have options. Ultimately, though, medical schools will not look into who writes your letters much at all… they just want to hear from people who truly know you.
Hope this helps! Feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have.
