I’m entering my third year in the fall, and I’m wondering how the workload is for this schedule:
- MCDB 310
- Biology 207
- Psych 355 (3)
- Amcult 205 (4) or German 304 (3), still undecided
- Rcmusic 321 (2)
It would be a total of 16 or 17 credits. Would this be too much, or is it pretty balanced? I figured this psych class would be similar to ones I’ve already taken, and the other two classes would be fun
Hi Josiah,
MCDB 310 is relatively difficult class and has a heavy workload. Bio 207 also requires memorization, but I think it would be manageable to take them together as long as the other classes are not too demanding. My recommendation is taking no more than two humanities/social sciences courses with MCDB 310 and Bio 207. To get a better sense about which classes to keep, you can go to the first few sessions and compare their workload based on their curriculum. This would help you to make an informed decision.
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!
