Hello!
During the fall semester, I plan on taking pchem and a few social science/humanities classes. Do people usually take pchem with another STEM class? Since it has a 73% workload on atlas (as well as all of the horror stories I’ve heard), I’m not sure if it would be wise to take BIO 225 or MCDB 434 with the class.
Hello Lila,
I personally took pchem in the spring semester with PSYCH 430 which is a biopsych class. I would say that CHEM230 is a tough class in terms of workload. Because the class moves fast and you have to keep up with the material. I would say that it is still feasible to take it with BIO225, but you would have to prepare yourself to have a lot of exams next semester. My suggestion is that you don’t take more than 2 STEM classes in one semester and if you can, take the other two STEM classes in another semester instead. I hope that is helpful!
