As a disclaimer, the information I have about the class is coming from a peer who took the class the first semester it was offered, so it is likely the class environment has changed since then. From what I’ve heard, the class requires memorization of cellular pathways and functions for the exams, so that can take up a good chunk of study time. As an intro bio classes, it’s probably on the tougher side of things in terms of the exams, but the workload was manageable for the most part. What’s nice is that if you intend on majoring in MCDB, the class prepares you well for MCDB 428, so that’s a perk!
